In recent days, a series of triumphs have been reported in international architectural design competitions. China MCC5 Group's Technology Centre, distinguished by its exceptional design philosophy and cutting-edge construction techniques, has secured the Platinum Awards – the highest accolades in the professional office category – at both the Architecture Collection magazine's ‘2025 Architecture and Design Collection Awards (ADC Awards)’ and the ‘2025 London Design Awards’. This achievement marks it as the sole Chinese project honoured in the office category across these two international competitions. The Platinum Award in the Professional Office category of the 2025 London Design Awards stands as the sole global accolade of its kind, marking a double triumph on the global stage.

MCC5 Technology Centre is situated on Jinjiang Avenue in Chengdu, Sichuan, with a total floor area of 15,000 square metres. The building adopts a ‘leaping whale’ form, featuring terraced setbacks on the northern side and cantilevered projections on the southern side. Guided by core design principles of innovation, adaptability, regenerativity and empowerment, and employing strategies of passive demand reduction, active efficiency enhancement and integrated active-passive synergy, the building incorporates over 20 proprietary technologies developed by the parent group. These include an intelligent low-carbon operations management system. It stands as Sichuan's most energy-efficient near-zero consumption building and the province's sole nationally certified zero-carbon structure
